Welcome to Alpine Meadows .... our lovely three bedroom, ground floor holiday apartment close to the
lakes and mountains of the
Salzkammergut, the Austrian 'Lake District'.
Alpine Meadows is situated in the peaceful countryside on the edge ofBad Ischl and really does overlook alpine meadows, woods
and mountains.
We are
approximately two kilometers from the centre
of Bad Ischl,and only a short drive from:
*the gentle slopes of the
Postalm Arena ideal for first time skiers and those who don't want too
much of a challenge when it comes to gliding down the slopes. As well as a
ski school there is also a Funpark with a wide variety of activities like
snowtubing and snowbiking and there are also kilometeres of langlauf tracks
for cross country skiers to enjoy.
*
the more challenging skiing of Gosau and Russbach where there are slopes for
skiers of all abilities. Both resorts have ski schools and Russbach also has
a nursery where parents can leave their children with qualified staff while
they ski.
*the Dachstein
Krippenstein Freesports Arena. Here there is
literally something for everyone, beginners to Freeskiers, ski schools to
Freeride-Guides.
* the picturesque
lakeside villages of St Wolfgang, St Gilgen and Strobl
where if skiing isn't for you you can relax and enjoy the view over a hot
coffee and slice of delicious cake.
Alpine Meadows is a spacious, no-smoking holiday
apartment ideal for all ages and tastes whether you want an energetic
winter
holiday skiing, snow boarding,
langlaufing, tobogganing, snow walking or just having fun in the snow. Or perhaps you just want to relax in the beautiful countryside by the
many tranquil lakes, taking a horse drawn sleigh ride or
just enjoy superb austrian cooking at a hutte at the
top of a mountain while you watch others exert themselves.
Bad Ischl has a good
variety of cool bars and relaxed restaurants and
cafes which are open long into
the night. In fact there is probably no better way to relax
after an energetic and exhilarating day on the slopes.
The Alpine Meadows Apartment is ideal who people
enjoy the countryside, outdoor activities and sightseeing during the day and
relaxing in a quiet peaceful environment during the evening.

you can make the most of your holiday.
