Situated in the countryside overlooking alpine meadows and woods on the edge of the charming character filled Austrian town of Bad Ischl, our spacious ground floor holiday apartment, which sleeps upto 10, is close to the ski slopes and is ideal for winter sports enthusiasts as well as guests who just want to enjoy the beauty of the Austria.

Less than one hour from Salzburg airport Alpine Meadows is in the heart of the Salzkammergut, the 'Austrian Lake District'.

Alpine Meadows is just a short drive from the ski slopes like:

  • the gentle slopes of the Postalm Arena which is ideal for first time skiers. As well as a ski school there is also a Funpark with a wide variety of activities like Snowtubing and Snowbiking plus many more - ideal for young and old alike.

  • the more challenging skiing of Gosau and Russbach which has slopes suitable for skiers of all abilities. Both resorts have ski schools and Russbach also has facilities where parents can leave their children with qualified staff while they ski.

  • and for 'free stylers' and experienced skiers there is the glacier skiing of Dachstein-Krippenstein with some runs which can only be attempted in the company of a qualified guide!
  • finally there is skiing almost on our doorstep on Bad Ischl's very own Katrin Alm visible from our garden and about five minutes drive away.
