Getting to Alpine Meadows is easy....

Our local airport is Salzburg, less than an hours drive away, which is served by a number of major airlines including easyJet, Ryanair, BA and Germanwings amongst others. Ryanair also fly into Linz which is less than 90 minutes away by car. Guest have also flown into Innsbruck and Munich before driving to Alpine Meadows

One way to avoid airport transfers when staying at Alpine Meadows













Land your seaplane on Wolfgangsee and its only a 20 minute drive to Alpine Meadows.  We can arrange transfers for you but to get the most out of your stay we suggest that hiring a car would be the best way to experience the Salzkammergut. These pictures were taken at the Scalaria air challenge held in July every year on Wolfgangsee.

By Train or Bus to Bad Ischl

            Alpine Meadows is 3 km from Bad Ischl railway station


The railway station in Bad Ischl is about three kilometers from Alpine Meadows and has direct services or connections to all the main towns and cities in Austria as well as to Eurostar.

                

From the bus station, which is next to the railway station, there are good services to the surrounding towns and villages


If you are travelling to Bad Ischl by train or bus we can pick you up at the station or you can get a taxi but please contact us before you travel if you want a lift.
